Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou 2009

Very rich and dense, pure aromas. Touches that are floral, of licorice, frame the fresh fruit of plum, blackcurrant. There’s a creaminess, an uplifting tang, then a hint of chocolate. Very cool in the mouth; really subtle. Very mineral, too, with a super-ripe and dense structure.
